Ordering A Cake
Whether it's a wedding cake or a celebration cake it can be daunting ordering a cake for the first time. Using my 40+ years of baking knowledge, I will guide you through the process.
The first step is to gather some inspiration. If you're looking to book a wedding cake, please click here to take you to my dedicated wedding cake page.
Get in touch by phone, email or the contact form telling me the date, type of occasion, number of servings and your ideas. It is also helpful to know your budget. I will then put together a couple of designs at different price points and discuss them with you.
Once you've chosen the design, a non-refundable booking fee is payable to secure the date. I will then confirm all details by email with a copy of the design. You can then sit back and I'll get on with creating your cake.
The cake is delivered to your chosen venue and set up so it is perfect for you.

Each cake is a custom creation, so please share as many details as possible. This includes the number of portions, flavour, design preferences and any specific themes or colours you have in mind. I can then provide an accurate quote. You can get in touch by phone, email or the contact form. I look forward bringing your vision to life!
What details do you need to quote a cake? Please tell me the date you need the cake for, how many servings, colours schemes and any design ideas you have. The more information, the better. Take a look at my celebration cakes page for more information.
What does a custom cake cost? It depends on the size of the cake and complexity of design. My minimum charge for a celebration cake is £110.00 and for a wedding cake is £300.00 for a two tier. A three tier starts at £475.00
How do I order a wedding cake? Please take a look at the weddings cake page for all the information on ordering a wedding cake.
Can you cater for allergies/intolerances? Whilst I can make cakes without gluten & dairy, I have to advise that I do not have a gluten/dairy free kitchen. Please check out my flavours page or get in touch to discuss. I will always do my best to help.
Do you deliver? Yes. I know how to transport cakes so they arrive at your venue in the best condition possible. I deliver within about an hours drive. Delivery is charged at 45p per mile return.
